Under 30s Dulwich Picture GalleryReimagining Dulwich for the Under 30s

Dulwich Picture Gallery is the world’s first purpose-built public art gallery and in the last few years it it has developed in a vibrant cultural hub hosting some of the UK's leading exhibitions alongside its Permanent Collection of Baroque masterpieces. To engage a younger audience, the gallery launched a new ticketing programme for visitors under 30, encouraging them to explore its rich cultural offerings.

Design and strategy

The visual identity developed for the Dulwich Picture Gallery Under 30s campaign drew inspiration from the gallery’s iconic interior architecture. The design embraced a modern aesthetic while reflecting the gallery’s vision of "Find yourself in art," offering fresh perspectives on its historical artworks.

A set of illustrations depicting the gallery’s interior and exterior architecture in a modern style was created to accompany the text and headlines across all communication materials for prints outdoor and social media platforms. The colour palette reflected a contemporary vibe, introducing vibrant neon tones while retaining the brick-brown colour of the building’s façade.

Project developed with Binomi design studio.
